Risk of Infertility! Try to Avoid These Foods

 Infertility amongst men and women is a serious condition, often caused by a number of factors with the kind of eats and food diets one puts up with as a major factor. The inability to conceive or bear the mankind fruit of reproduction is much more common in women than men as various studies have suggested.

It causes alot of distress and discomfort in many of couples' relationship, making it a great deal and a very important topic for our discussion today. Scientists have been able to attribute this condition to poor eating habits and unhealthy lifestyles. Therefore, one of the ways, especially in women to fight this, is to improve or change on eating habits.

Avoid or try to limit your intake of the following foods as I will briefly describe them for you, men reading this please take note for your spouse or partner.

  • Large Quantities of Caffeine Products

Caffeine products especially coffee has been found to be a cause of infertility if taken in huge amounts in women. It's recommended that if planning to conceive, spare yourself from taking coffee.

  • Increased Sugar Levels Foods
These foods which include cornflakes, donuts, french fries, pumpkins are just but a few examples of foods with added sugars which are highly to affect your fertility.

  • Unpasteurised Milk Cheese
Avoid foods prepared with soft cheese that is not from pasteurised milk. This has been known to contribute to infertility in women. A bacteria (listeria) is known to cross from a woman's placenta to the uterus and cause a great damage which is likely to result into infertility.
  • Trans-Fat Rich Foods
The so much loved foods from mostly junk foods are common culprits rich in these trans fats which causes infertility in women. Examples include, baked, fast foods, packaged and frozen foods.

Those are the most common causes of infertility especially in women and the following are some of those eats which can help boost or improve your fertility.

  • Fiber Rich Foods – whole grains (beans), vegetables and fruits
  • Vegetables Proteins – no proteins from meat just peas, soy, nuts and beans are a great source of vegetable protein.
  • Iron Rich Foods – these include beans, spinach, whole grains, tomatoes and pumpkins.
  • Take Whole Milk – avoid skim milk and take a glass of whole milk, ice cream and yoghurt if trying to conceive.
  • Eggs Dishes – are a great source of protein and essential fats which are beneficial for fetal development.
