Taking little to very low diets of vegetables and fruits while consuming high amounts of animal protein is very dangerous for your health and could potentially lead to risk of developing cancer. There are no much difference between cholesterol levels amounts in either chicken or beef. While chicken packs about 85 percent of the cholesterol content, beef packs about 89 percent. Studies carried out in the United Kingdom and American labs have proven devastating effects, from chicken rared and sold by the different vendors, finding harm substances(bacteria) in as many as 97% of all the chicken that were sampled. Thereby, posting huge factual possibilities of food poisoning resulting from bacteria and germs in chicken.

Research having uncovered vegetarians having a lower body mass index than meat eaters, this has attracted much attention to weight management enthusiasts and checkers. Chicken like other meats though the best source of animal proteins, has saturated fats and fatty acids which encourages increased weight gain.

Risk of UTI Infection

A particular strain of E. Coli (Escherichia Coli) which is a type of bacteria that lives in your intestines, was found to be causing UTIs. This study conducted by an American team of scientists, proved meat samples(80%) carriers of E. Coli with patient's urine and blood(72%) being positive of the strain of E. Coli.
